IPAC-RS welcomes opportunities to address topics of mutual interest collaboratively with other organizations.  For example, the cascade impaction concepts of Abbreviated Impactor Measurement (AIM) and Efficient Data Analysis (EDA), which have been developed by IPAC-RS and EPAG members, will be discussed at the DDL-21 Conference www.ddl-conference.org.uk (see the AIM & EDA Workshop program here).

Previously, the following topics were addressed through the Product Quality Research Institute:

Strategies for control of leachables and extractables in orally inhaled and nasal drug products

Role of cascade impaction mass balance

Characterization of the chi-square ratio test for in-vitro equivalence determinations

In collaboration with USP, IPAC-RS developed recommendations for microbiological testing of orally inhaled and nasal drug products

Demonstrating Bioequivalence of Locally Acting Orally Inhaled Drug Products (OIPs): Workshop Summary Report. Journal of Aerosol Medicine and Pulmonary Drug Delivery. February 2010, 23(1): 1-29. doi:10.1089/jamp.2009.0803.

Through ISO, IPAC-RS in collaboration with EPAG participated in the development of international standards for inhalers and nebulizers.

In collaboration with ISAM, IPAC-RS has organized a European Workshop regarding Equivalence of Orally Inhaled Drugs (Workshop).
